John Elway gets five more years

Denver Broncos vice-president John Elway explains his reaction to receiving the call from new quarterback Peyton Manning informing him of his decision to sign with the Broncos in Englewood, Colorado March 20, 2012. The Denver Broncos and Peyton Manning have agreed to a five-year contract that will pay the 11-time Pro Bowl quarterback $96 million, according to a report on the National Football League's (NFL) website. Details haven’t been released yet as to how much Elway will make over the next five years, but you can bet that it’ll be a lot.  Since rejoining the Denver Broncos as the Excutive Vice President of Football Operations in 2011, Elway has managed his team to 2 Superbowls (1 win), won five straight AFC West titles, and only missed the playoffs last season.  The Broncos have gone 67-29 since Elway took over, I can see why they want him around until 2021.
