Around the Scoreboard – Monday, June 12th.

Good Morning Hooligans!  We are looking at Monday in our rearview mirror with our eyes on the weekend!  Last night, the Golden State Warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers to win the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy.  Kevin Durant walked away with the Bill Russell NBA Finals MVP award.  Congrats to Golden State! The Phillies and the Red Sox needed extra innings to decide the game, the Red Sox came out on top in the 11th.  In the Pirates and Rockies game, the Pirates left 11 runner stranded on base, while still winning the game 7-2.  Met’s starting pitcher, Jacob deGrom pitched a complete game.  He only gave up 5 hits, 1 earned run, and 6 strikeouts. deGrom is 5-3 on the year.
